Choir

The music ministry of St. John's is a joy to the congregation and to its members. The choir participates in every service and special event. Although led by a trained professional, the only qualification you need to join is wanting  to praise God. Practice is every Thursday at 7:30PM in the upstairs choir room.

Food Pantry

Tough economic times have taken their toll. Many of our neighbors need assistance to make ends meet and keep their families fed. Our food pantry is open the first three Mondays of each month, from 9:00AM - noon. Proof of local residence is required as is income verification after the first visit. The food pantry is located to the rear of the classroom wing.

Sunday School

Every Sunday, while service is being held upstairs, youngsters are invited to their own lessons taught by members of St. John's family. Many interactive tools including music, art, and dance are used to convey God's love. All are welcome.

Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN)

Reduced income and stressed relationships  can result in homelessness. Manned by volunteers, a network of compassionate host churches house and feed needy families in weekly intervals. Because our Pastor lives locally, our parsonage is  empty yet has a special purpose for each of the six weeks we serve as host church. For more information, contact Warren County IHN.

International Child Sponsorship

St. John's is the proud sponsor of a young man in the Dominican Republic, whom we communicate with regularly. Our financial assistance is ensuring him a quality education that is a blessing to us all.

Sister Churches,
One Family

A congregation is not defined by church walls. Pastor Carla also ministers to Johnsonburg UMC, and we consider them part of our family. Butzville UMC is another sister church; we alternate the location of holiday services with them.
